Dirkzwager, a large Dutch legal & tax firm, faced the challenge of managing a decade of content growth—over 7,500 articles written by 150 specialists across 15 separate websites—and wanted a single platform that gave authors unprecedented control and a superior editing experience. Using Umbraco CMS (implemented with partner Perplex), Dirkzwager aimed to consolidate content, improve findability and accessibility, and streamline author workflows.

Perplex built a unified, author-centric platform on Umbraco that consolidated all articles into one environment and added create/save/publish workflows, contextual writing tips, automated expertise and theme suggestions, and a quality-score system based on article-to-conversion ratios. The Umbraco solution delivered measurable governance and engagement—7,500 articles and 150 authors are now managed centrally, authors and articles are ranked with performance-based Top 5s to drive quality, and the platform won the Umbraco Awards 2018 Best Editing Experience.
