Carlsberg, a global group with more than 500 brands operating in 160 markets, faced fragmented, hard-to-find brand sites that weren’t optimized for mobile and made it difficult to share content across markets. To solve this, Carlsberg partnered with Umbraco, using Umbraco Cloud to build a unified approach via the Pegasus Framework.
Umbraco implemented the Pegasus Framework (using BaselineFlow and ContentFlow on Umbraco Cloud) to consolidate hundreds of local sites into a single, centrally governed but locally flexible platform. The solution accelerated time-to-market, cut costs by enabling reuse of content and functionality across brands, dramatically increased organic traffic, and supported migration of several hundred sites — outcomes recognized with Best Platform and Managing Platforms awards in Denmark.
