Building a stronger brand and a more effective digital experience

Shawbrook Bank, a UK savings and lending provider, sought a complete rebrand and a transformed digital experience to drive more direct consumer and business sales. The challenge was to refresh all brand assets and redesign the site to be more appealing and easier to use for a wide range of customers — delivered as an Umbraco-based website.

Using Umbraco, the project implemented a modular, mobile-first design with improved UX, micro-interactions, stronger content and technical SEO, and enhanced analytics for data-led optimization. The Umbraco-based site drove measurable gains: 70% increase in mobile traffic, 41% increase in total organic traffic, 371% rise in engagement with business contact pages, plus a 3% uplift in sessions, 28% more PDF downloads and a 27% reduction in bounce rate.
