Case Study: Advance achieves award-winning, editor-friendly modular website with Umbraco

A Umbraco Case Study

Preview of the Advance Case Study

Advance - Customer Case Study

Advance, a large advertising agency in Copenhagen, faced an outdated, clunky website that restricted editors and limited its ability to tell complex stories. Spring/Summer led the redesign on the Umbraco platform, hosting the site on Umbraco Cloud and making heavy use of Umbraco packages (modified Nested Content and Stacked Content) to deliver a back office that prioritized editor freedom and usability.

Spring/Summer implemented a modular three-column layout, full‑row modules, a single-list approach to sections and modules, and an abstracted media editor (Image/Video/SVG) using enhanced Nested and Stacked Content. Hosted on Umbraco Cloud, the solution made content management intuitive, avoided long training sessions and many support questions, and earned Advance the Umbraco Award for Best Editing Experience while improving overall accessibility and content-creation workflows.
