Action for Children, a UK charity supporting parents, children and young people, needed to optimise its donation journey ahead of the festive season—especially the donation landing page where mobile users made up over 63% of traffic. Working on the Umbraco CMS (with development by partner Cantarus), the brief was to redevelop the page with a mobile-first, accessible design to increase conversion across devices.

Cantarus rebuilt the donation landing page on Umbraco using interactive prototypes, choosing a simpler button-based donation component, prominent CTAs and configurable price points that the AfC team can manage in the Umbraco back office. The Umbraco-based solution delivered dramatic gains: a 713% increase in unique page views for the new donation landing page, 61% more unique page views for monthly donations and a 35% uplift in single donations.
