A corporate platform for content, commerce and digital services

Berenschot, a 350‑employee independent management consultancy, needed a unified digital platform to reflect a new brand identity and support content, commerce and client portals ("My Berenschot"). The challenge was to replace fragmented systems with an integrated solution that handled SEO‑optimised corporate content, purchasable products, white‑label client portals and secure access — using Umbraco as the CMS platform.

Using Umbraco (implemented with partner 4NG) the team built a platform across three Umbraco instances with shared component libraries, single sign‑on (Azure AD), a PIM-backed customer portal and APIs to surface product data. The solution added role‑based adviser profiles, custom components and extensive content compositions, migrating 100+ cases, creating 150 new subpages and redirecting 1,400 URLs. The Umbraco‑based platform delivered mobile‑friendly, SEO‑ready content, reduced maintenance effort and costs, and produced a dramatic drop in time‑to‑market so Berenschot can accelerate its digital transformation.
