Pico Rivera plans 44-acre Rio Hondo Park refurbishment with Ultrasystems Environmental

The City of Pico Rivera sought to refurbish and update the aging Rio Hondo Park. Ultrasystems Environmental was retained to provide the necessary environmental documentation and technical studies to support this redevelopment project.

Ultrasystems Environmental commenced work on an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration, along with supporting technical reports for air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, paleontological resources, and traffic impacts. However, after this initial analysis was performed, the City of Pico Rivera determined it was not in their best interest to proceed with the project.
