National Community Renaissance delivers a 200-unit affordable housing project with Ultrasystems Environmental

National Community Renaissance (NCR) was contracted by the City of Murrieta to plan a 200-unit affordable housing complex. Their challenge was ensuring the project complied with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). To meet this requirement, NCR enlisted the services of Ultrasystems Environmental to prepare an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND).

Ultrasystems Environmental implemented the solution by preparing the necessary IS/MND documentation. This involved conducting several key technical studies, including an Air Quality/Greenhouse Gas Emissions Assessment, a Biological Resources Assessment, a Cultural Resources Study, and a Noise Impact Assessment. Ultrasystems also managed the public review process, handling all noticing, distribution, and public hearings for the proposed project, which successfully allowed it to move forward in compliance with CEQA.
