Altrio's PEA deemed incomplete with UltraSystems Environmental's CEQA review

Ultrasystems Environmental was engaged by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to review a Proponent’s Environmental Assessment (PEA) submitted by their customer, Altrio Communications. The challenge was to ensure the PEA's plans, data, and analyses were accurate, complete, and fully met the rigorous standards of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

The solution involved Ultrasystems conducting a thorough technical review of the PEA across numerous environmental and regulatory areas. As a result, Ultrasystems determined the PEA lacked sufficient information and was therefore incomplete. They submitted these findings and recommendations to the CPUC, providing the necessary analysis for the regulatory body to make an informed decision on the project's compliance.
