RTM cuts inference cost 28% with Ultralytics

RTM, a Seoul-based industrial AI company, faced the challenge of providing continuous factory safety monitoring without requiring manufacturers to purchase expensive new server hardware. They needed a solution to run on existing customer PCs, from integrated graphics to discrete GPUs, to power AI that detects people, falls, and fire or smoke.

Ultralytics provided the solution with its YOLO26 model. RTM used Ultralytics YOLO26 to build a system that exports models to ONNX, allowing them to run on a wide range of hardware with a single artifact. This approach cut inference costs by 28% and enabled deployment across 21 manufacturing sites. The result was a highly cost-effective safety system that, for some customers, replaced physical fencing and significantly reduced the need for safety monitoring staff.
