Spirent Communications, a $700M manufacturer and assembler of telecommunications testing equipment, had acquired five companies across the U.S., Canada, and London, each running disparate systems. As growth accelerated, especially at Adtech in Hawaii, the company needed to replace outdated Tier III systems and find a way to unify ERP, CRM, and PDM across the organization.

Ultra Consultants guided Spirent Communications through the vendor selection and then served as global project manager for the first phase of implementation. Ultra helped select J.D. Edwards for ERP, Siebel for CRM, and Agile for PDM, and the resulting five-month rollout was completed on time and on budget, with all three systems live in three locations by January 2nd. The project achieved Spirent’s goal of providing one face to customers through a single system and one invoice for all products.
