Independent Can Company (ICC), a family-owned manufacturer of specialty metal packaging and lithography products, needed to replace a 15-to-20-year-old legacy ERP system that was overloaded with spreadsheets, bolt-on tools, and manual workarounds. The old system did not support manufacturing well, could not scale for growth, and left ICC without a single source of truth for quoting, planning, scheduling, inventory, and reporting. ICC worked with Ultra Consultants to define process improvements and select an ERP platform that fit its mixed make-to-order and make-to-stock operations.
