A Ulatus Case Study

Preview of the Sanofi Case Study

Sanofi delivers 50 CIOMS translations a day within 24 hours with Ulatus

The global pharmaceutical company Sanofi required a 24-hour translation system for its Japanese to English CIOMS adverse event reports, with each form needing to be translated within a strict one-day turnaround. This presented a significant challenge due to the unpredictable arrival of forms and the high volume, which could exceed 100 reports daily. Ulatus was engaged to provide this critical translation service.

Ulatus solved this by building a dedicated team of 30 expert medical translators across different time zones and creating a fully automated workflow system exclusively for Sanofi. This solution ensured seamless, real-time progress tracking and consistent high-quality translations. As a result, Ulatus successfully translated an average of 50 forms per day for approximately a year, with a daily peak of 136 forms, all while meeting the demanding 24-hour deadline and impressing the client with its adherence to quality and timeliness.
