Moving to a single system for global EHS data management

The Linde Group, a global gases and engineering company with operations in more than 100 countries, needed a better way to collect, update, and analyze sustainability and corporate responsibility data after its merger with BOC Group. Its existing systems were becoming outdated, and it required a single solution that could manage data from hundreds of reporting centers while maintaining a full audit trail. UL Solutions, through its cr360 platform, was selected to help address these needs.

UL Solutions implemented cr360 as a simple, scalable global EHS and sustainability data management system, and the rollout was completed quickly across roughly 700 locations. The platform made it easier for local sites to report data, improved transparency and external verification, and freed CR managers from chasing information so they could focus on policy work. The Linde Group also reported that nearly 95% of the company was tracking sustainability data, which KPMG noted was at the high end of peer companies.
