A Udacity Case Study
General Electric Company (GE) faced the challenge of rapidly upskilling and reskilling its global workforce in software, big data and analytics to stay at the forefront of the industrial Internet. To meet the need for scalable, practical training across departments and regions, GE partnered with Udacity and adopted Udacity's Nanodegrees as a focused way to build job‑relevant competencies in technology.
Udacity delivered project‑based Nanodegree programs in data science, mobile, web and cloud development, with coaching and mobile access to scale across GE. The partnership has trained hundreds of employees across regions, produced tangible project portfolios for managers to review, and helped GE teams launch new industrial data products with faster time to market — results GE leadership describes as terrific.
