At&T Partners With Udacity To Transform The Skills Of Its Workforce

AT&T, evolving from a traditional telecom into a technology company offering home automation, connected car, video and high‑speed Internet services, faced the challenge of rapidly transforming the skills of a workforce of more than 160,000 to support a software‑driven network. To address this, AT&T partnered with Udacity and adopted Udacity’s Nanodegree programs to scale upskilling across the organization.

Udacity developed tailored, project‑based Nanodegrees—online, coach‑supported courses with real‑world projects—to bridge AT&T’s skill gaps in mobile, web and data science and train employees at scale. As a result of Udacity’s program, AT&T is reskilling thousands of employees, improving workforce readiness for new roles and reporting gains in productivity, innovation and morale as it builds its software‑driven future.
