Urban League of Louisiana’s Contractor’s Resource Center (CRC) supports small, DBE-certified, minority and women-owned contracting firms by providing training, technology and business development resources. The challenge was to give these firms practical construction management skills and tools to improve project controls, increase bonding capacity and win larger contracts.

The CRC integrated UDA Technologies’ ConstructionSuite into its computer lab and classroom training to teach estimating, document management, Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and schedule/value control. As a result, the CRC delivered 100+ training hours across 33 workshops to 400+ attendees in 2017, helping contractors gain more than $18.3M in bonding capacity and secure about $26.3M in contracts while advancing their financial and project-management maturity.
