Windstar Homes, a Tampa-based custom home builder of multi-million-dollar estates, struggled with fragmented project information and inefficient workflows that made estimating, scheduling and cash management difficult. Owner David Lesser needed a single, reliable system to connect documents, estimates, schedules and contacts so the company could stay meticulous, scale operations and avoid costly manual processes.

Windstar implemented ConstructionOffice (starting with a single-user licence, then upgrading to multi-user) to integrate estimating, proposals, scheduling, document management and contact data. The system streamlined estimating and draws, shortened build times (a 7,000 sq. ft., $5M home is on track to finish in 8 months instead of 14–16), enabled Windstar to take on two more homes without adding staff, and is projected to increase annual profit by roughly $1M while centralizing all project data.
