Effect Home Builders is a custom-home builder known for blending new work into established neighborhoods. They were hired to renovate the landmark 1968 Poole Residence in Edmonton, facing the challenge of adding a second-storey with two bedrooms and modern "green" systems while preserving the home's original midcentury character, cedar cladding, patios, slate walkways and indoor pool.
