How A Global Flooring Giant Is Using Digital Signage To Drive Workforce Communications & Plant Efficiency

Mohawk Industries, the world’s largest flooring supplier, faced a communications gap after workforce reductions left many plant-floor employees without email access and unclear about benefits, safety and operational updates. After a successful local trial, Mohawk adopted UCView’s digital signage software platform and turnkey SaaS managed service to deliver scalable, visible messaging across its manufacturing and distribution sites.

UCView deployed a cloud-based signage network (more than 100 displays in 53 plants with plans to expand company-wide) managed centrally by HR with local opt-in content; UCView’s development team also built an interface to tufting machines to show real-time efficiency on the plant floor, helping operators prevent breakdowns and avoid costly downtime—Mohawk estimates company-wide savings in the millions. The program boosted awareness of benefits and Healthy Life Centers, improved safety communication, achieved roughly 90% employee buy-in, and reduced Mohawk’s day-to-day IT burden through UCView’s managed service.
