Comox Valley Economic Development Society Uses Digital Signage to Attract the Attention of Tourists

Comox Valley Tourism Center needed a modern, engaging way to showcase the region’s activities and attract more visitors to the Vancouver Island hub. The center partnered with UCView to replace USB-based players with web-based digital signage—motion-activated monitors and remote players—to deliver up-to-the-minute, high-quality, multi-language content that captures tourists’ attention.

UCView implemented a rack-mounted, sensor-triggered solution with IP control and a web CMS that was quick to install and simple for staff to operate. The system enables automated looping, real-time updates and targeted local ad campaigns, instantly alerting visitors to wineries, alpine and ski exhibits, mountain biking events and more—improving on-site visibility and visitor engagement for the Comox Valley Tourism Center.
