Dinesen, a Danish manufacturer of bespoke wooden flooring, faced challenges with long website load times and a disruptive checkout flow that was impacting the customer experience for their high-end, visually-driven brand. They partnered with vendor Ucommerce and its implementation partner, Alpha Solutions, to address these issues.

The solution implemented by Ucommerce and Alpha Solutions involved setting up a cache and CDN on Microsoft Azure to drastically reduce load times, allowing for the upload of large, high-quality images without performance loss. Ucommerce was used to rebuild the checkout flow, eliminating errors and creating a refined user experience. The easily expandable code architecture of Ucommerce also allowed for the creation of custom promotions and the seamless integration of an external shipping provider.
