Jacksons Fencing, a leading UK manufacturer of metal and wooden garden fencing, gates and accessories, needed to migrate its residential ecommerce site from a bespoke .NET platform to Sitecore 8.2 without losing traffic, sales, or conversions. The company also wanted to serve multiple audiences, including residential consumers, trade, and installers, while building a single customer view and enabling stronger personalization across online and offline channels. Ucommerce was used alongside Sitecore to support the ecommerce requirements.

Ucommerce helped power a complex online store with around 1,300 products, product configurators for fencing, decking, and gates, Google Shopping feed integration, and a connected basket and checkout experience. With Ucommerce and Sitecore in place, Jacksons Fencing can now manage products, orders, abandoned baskets, content, and configurators in one system, and the site saw conversion rates increase by over 3% while bounce rates fell significantly.
