Moodlerooms boosts reliability with Ubuntu Server and Ubuntu Advantage

Moodlerooms, a provider of online education tools for universities and schools, needed a stable, reliable infrastructure to support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users on its joule® platform. To replace its aging Sun-based environment, Moodlerooms turned to Ubuntu Server Edition and VMware, with Ubuntu Advantage support from Canonical.

Ubuntu implemented the new server environment and provided dedicated support that helped Moodlerooms resolve critical issues quickly and transparently. As a result, Moodlerooms now runs about 100 Ubuntu-based virtual servers with improved reliability, better uptime, and faster problem resolution, giving the company and its customers greater peace of mind.
