Ubiquiti Products Provide Wi-Fi at Convention Center

Palacio de Congresos in Granada, Spain needed a cost‑effective, reliable Wi‑Fi solution to serve conventions, seminars and events across multiple meeting rooms. To cut costs while maintaining coverage, the Palacio de Congresos selected Ubiquiti UniFi products — including UniFi AP PROs, UniFi Controller software and TOUGHSwitch devices — with design support from distributor Landatel.

Ubiquiti deployed 11 UniFi AP PROs and 2 TOUGHSwitch PROs and installed the UniFi Controller on a local server for centralized configuration and monitoring. The Ubiquiti UniFi network delivers dual‑band coverage (2.4/5 GHz) with roaming and load balancing across VIP, seminar and press areas; some APs have supported more than 130 users, and the center plans to expand its Ubiquiti UniFi footprint and backhaul capacity.
