SGS Finds a Data Treasure Trove with Advanced Analytics

SGS, the world’s leading provider of inspection, monitoring and testing services (notably vehicle inspections and theoretical driving tests) with some 2,600 locations across France and the French overseas territories, needed a clear, easy-to-use way to measure its web-to-store customer journey and local search visibility. Working with Uberall and using Listings, Engage, Locator + Pages — and specifically Uberall’s Advanced Analytics — SGS sought a holistic analytics tool to track how consumers find, interact with and convert at individual branches.

Uberall implemented Advanced Analytics to deliver interactive dashboards, site- and region-level performance insights, and reputation monitoring, enabling regional and location managers to take targeted actions. As a result, SGS recorded 15–18% conversions on Google My Business, 1.5 million calls (+50%) and 1 million clicks (+40%) from 01.09.2019 to 01.09.2020, along with triple-digit growth in GMB queries — demonstrating clear, measurable uplift from Uberall’s solution.
