Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest health system, wanted to reduce pressure on urgent care, expand care beyond regular clinic hours, and improve adoption of its telemedicine program for its 4.5 million members. It turned to TytoCare and its TytoHome device to create an easy-to-use digital health experience that could differentiate Clalit as a leader in telehealth.
TytoCare introduced TytoHome through a pilot and then a broader rollout with marketing and patient education, allowing members to complete remote exams with physicians from home. In seven months, Clalit sold 5,000 devices and registered 13,000 patients, with 6,268 telehealth visits completed and strong engagement from pediatric users; 92% of visits were completed successfully, 94% of patients were satisfied, and TytoCare reported 45% telehealth utilization versus a 5% industry benchmark.
