Insel Group, Switzerland’s largest healthcare system, needed a new website after the Bern hospitals merged, with the goal of creating a uniform design across all hospitals, simplifying navigation, improving usability, and completing the project in just four months. TYPO3 was chosen to support the new multisite healthcare platform.

TYPO3 implemented a usability-focused website with a clear information structure, responsive design, multimedia content, and a flyout navigation for quicker access to content. TYPO3 also supported a centralized hospital manager module, enterprise search, patient check-in, and custom news/agenda features, helping Insel Group manage information consistently across all hospital sites and deliver a better user experience on time.
