SAMSON AG, a German manufacturer of control valves and automation systems, needed a technically revised, responsive website and product catalog. The company wanted a complex database structure for multiple product groups so users could quickly find the right products and related documentation, plus a way to handle direct product inquiries from around the world. TYPO3 was selected to support the relaunch with a TYPO3-based content management system.

TYPO3 implemented a responsive relaunch using TYPO3 7.6, an extensive Solr configuration, and the t3kit package to deliver a clear, mobile-friendly product catalog. The solution also included document downloads, sales-office and watch-list features, SEO optimization, and an interface to SAMSON’s document management system. As a result, SAMSON gained a structured, globally searchable product experience that better connects visitors with local sales support, though no specific numeric performance gains were provided.
