pfm medical, a German medical technology manufacturer, needed a relaunch of its B2B website to reflect a new corporate identity, present a broad product range more clearly, and give customers faster access to product information. The challenge was to modernize the site while keeping the existing identity and product catalogue structure intact, and to support multilingual content for an international audience. TYPO3, together with TYPO3 Commerce and SOLR search, was used as the core platform.

TYPO3 helped implement a responsive, cleaner, and more content-focused website with a reorganized information architecture and improved product presentation, while maintaining direct SAP integration for product data imports. The search function was expanded beyond the product catalogue to cover the full site, including news and dates, and autosuggest improved usability. The result was a more up-to-date, easier-to-navigate website in German and English; no specific quantitative impact was provided.
