New technique behind an old design with TYPO3
The Lindenberg, a home for the arts in Nijmegen, needed to modernize its main sales channel without disrupting an unstable website that required a lot of maintenance. Working with TYPO3 and Beech.it, the organization wanted to keep its existing design while replacing the underlying technology so courses, performances, and internal systems could remain accessible online.
TYPO3 enabled a low-risk migration by separating design from technology and integrating the site with Lindenberg’s internal registration system and external ticketing platform. The solution linked around 700 courses and supported online payment for performances, while keeping the site live during the transition. TYPO3 and Beech.it also set the stage for a future redesign, mobile optimization, and deeper social media integration.
