Mercedes-Benz needed a reliable B2B portal to support “bodybuilders” who convert its vans and trucks, giving them access to vehicle drawings, guidelines, data sheets, and customer order information. The company relied on the TYPO3-based Bodybuilder Portal to organize and deliver this critical conversion content to partners across multiple countries.

TYPO3 implemented and maintained the Bodybuilder Portal as a web platform, with a 2011 relaunch that improved usability and added benefits for both new and existing registered users. The results are significant: the portal is available in 11 languages, serves more than 4,000 registered bodybuilders from over 50 countries, hosts over 1.4 million documents, and handles more than 20,000 visitors, 2.2 million page views, and about 110 GB of downloads each month.
