Condor, the German airline and subsidiary of Thomas Cook Group, needed its first-ever intranet to serve as a central hub for employee news, internal memos, statistics, forms, offers, and access to existing crew information systems. TYPO3 was selected as the content management platform, as Condor wanted a flexible, attractive, and easy-to-use solution that could support both employee communications and operational needs.

TYPO3, implemented by AOE media, delivered a new intranet portal built on the TYPO3 CMS and integrated it with the separate OPS portal through single sign-on, eliminating the need for a second login. TYPO3 also powered features like an internal marketplace, forums, and quick access tools, resulting in a visually engaging and functional intranet that improved usability and streamlined access for crews; no specific quantitative impact was reported.
