BSBH, the Blind and Visually Impaired Association in Hesse, needed a complete website relaunch with accessibility at its core. Working with TYPO3, the organization aimed to make essential information easier to find, improve mobile usability, support participation, and meet strict accessibility requirements, including BITV, THM review, and Leserlich.info guidelines.

TYPO3, implemented by dkd Internet Service GmbH, built the site on t2quick and developed a barrier-free design, a digital membership form, and an event management extension with a rights and roles concept for district groups. The new website achieved an excellent BITV score of 98/100 and was confirmed accessible by THM, delivering a highly usable, inclusive, and paperless experience.
