Bibliomed, a leading German publishing house for nurses and hospital managers, needed to relaunch its portals bibliomedmanager.de and bibliomed-pflege.de. The challenge was to improve search visibility, connect multiple third-party systems such as CRM, email marketing, publishing software, and webshop tools, and deliver a fresh responsive design using TYPO3.

TYPO3, implemented together with schaffrath medien, provided a multi-domain TYPO3 setup with custom APIs, protected articles, Solr search integration, and responsive design. The vendor also added an Issue-Archive extension to manage and sell articles by issue, while agile SCRUM methods helped keep the project flexible; the result was reduced editorial workload and portals reaching more than 1 million readers combined.
