Room for Refugees is a Scottish charity that helps homeless refugees and migrants find temporary accommodation in the UK. With only two members of staff, it needed a way to handle growing demand without manually logging every spare room that was offered.

Using Typeform, Room for Refugees built a sign-up form for hosts to share details about their room, location, and how long they could host. The form connects through Zapier to Knack, automatically adding each submission to the database and alerting the team by email. With Typeform, the charity has registered over 9,000 spare bedrooms and provided 43,529 nights of free shelter in 2020.
