How Indiegogo brings ideas to life through crowdfunding

Indiegogo, the crowdfunding platform that helps entrepreneurs test and fund ideas worldwide, needed a more engaging way to onboard and support campaigners and collect actionable feedback across its global user base. To replace dull, drop-off-prone forms, Indiegogo’s Inside Sales team led by Garrett Grohman adopted Typeform to create conversational, user-friendly surveys and intake flows.

Using Typeform — roughly 30 active typeforms — and features like Recall, Logic Jump, media embeds, Hidden Fields and custom design, Indiegogo captures critical campaign data and routes responses via Zapier into Google Sheets, Salesforce and Intercom, streamlining follow-up and support. According to Garrett, the results have been “awesome”: faster form creation, higher-quality responses, and more efficient communication that helps Indiegogo iterate on product/market fit and better serve entrepreneurs.
