Borrowell, an online lending marketplace in Canada, needed a way to deliver more personalized content and financial advice to customers. Head of Growth Jeff Goldenberg built a 5-minute "Financial Spirit Animal" quiz to identify customers’ financial personalities and used Typeform — leveraging features like Logic Jump, Calculator/custom scoring, embeddable forms and custom redirects — to create a branded, user-friendly experience that fit into Borrowell’s site.
Typeform’s implementation let Borrowell score and segment respondents into four personas (polar bear, loon, beaver, raccoon), redirect users to customized landing pages, and automatically push grouped responses to Mailchimp for targeted follow-ups. The quiz drove hundreds of completions in the first days, enabled more personalized messaging and long-term engagement, and saved Borrowell an estimated $3,000 in custom development costs thanks to Typeform.
