Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP) led a multimillion-dollar transformation for a state agency that manages appeals for 22 public social service programs. The agency was struggling with isolated, outdated systems (some dating to the 1970s) while handling about 100,000 appeals annually and meeting strict federal adjudication deadlines.
VIP implemented Tyler’s Case Management Development Platform (Entellitrak) as a configurable, COTS solution to unify intake, scheduling, hearings, document management, e-filing and reporting across the Department of Social Services, 58 counties, Medicaid and the state ACA marketplace. The integrated system adds a user portal, streamlines submission of over 500,000 documents per year, shortens the appeals lifecycle and delivers a single statewide workflow for adjudication and reporting.
