Everett School District in Massachusetts was facing serious budget and HR challenges: with roughly 80% of its budget allocated to personnel and nearly 100 unapproved hires in one year, the district relied on outdated financial and HR systems and manual Excel processes that created errors and limited visibility into positions, payroll and employee records.

To solve this, Everett implemented Munis, Tyler Technologies’ integrated ERP (starting with HCM and planning financials later) to introduce position control and automate paper-based workflows.
