A Tyler Technologies Case Study
Jasper Police Department, serving a seasonal population that can double in summer, relied on Incode public safety software but was constrained by a single aging server. As case files grew—more videos, photos and audio—and the department planned future mobile upgrades (MDTs, in-car cameras and ticket writers), Jasper needed expanded storage, faster processing and better system scalability.
Tyler Technologies expanded Jasper’s infrastructure to four dedicated servers and leveraged Incode’s scalability, resulting in faster data access, separation of system functions, and easy court integration. The upgrade cut report-writing and data-entry time by about 66% (from ~45 to ~15 minutes per case), provided roughly 10× more storage, enabled retention of records back to 1990, and positioned the department for future mobile services.
