The Maricopa County Superintendent of Schools Office (MCSSO) in Phoenix manages financial accounting and payroll for 28 school districts serving about 72,000 students and more than $300M in annual expenditures. Facing the need to replace legacy CIMS finance software, the County sought a comprehensive K–12 financial and personnel system that would meet statutory reporting requirements, consolidate district data, and deliver significant cost and time savings without disrupting services.
MCSSO implemented Tyler’s Infinite Visions suite, hosted on County servers, using a train‑the‑trainer roll‑out that converted all districts in 15 months. The project finished on time and below budget and delivered faster payroll processing (from two hours to under one), real‑time reporting, easy Excel exports, reduced paperwork, improved accountability and consolidated county reporting—freeing district staff and earning strong user satisfaction.
