The Wicomico County Circuit Court Clerk’s office in Maryland faced slow, paper‑heavy distribution of court‑generated documents: attorneys either had to pick up files in person or wait for mailed copies, which consumed staff time and taxpayer resources for printing and postage.

By adopting Tyler Technologies’ statewide Odyssey File & Serve (they were the second court in the state to implement it) and working closely with county IT and Tyler, the clerk’s office automated electronic service of documents.
