A Tyler Technologies Case Study
The City of Arlington, Texas (population ~380,000, 7th largest in the state) faced a failing court system handling roughly 200,000 tickets a year: millions in uncollected revenue, unbudgeted vendor support costs, long customer-service lines, manual case processing, months-long waits for trials, and an inability to consolidate multiple citations.
Arlington implemented Tyler Technologies’ Incode Court Case Management. After deployment, cases were no longer processed by hand, the city collected $1,000,000 in the first week of a warrant roundup, warrants processed increased (12%) and issuing capacity doubled, failure-to-appear warrants are issued in hours instead of days, average transaction time fell 86%, wait times dropped from about an hour to ~20 minutes, one full-time position was freed, and annual collections reached $11.3 million.
