iasWorld Helps County Become More Flexible, Modern and Stable

Franklin County Auditor’s Office, a large county government in Columbus, Ohio serving 1.3 million residents, faced growing demand for accurate, high‑volume property data—more than 41 million page views annually and over 1,500 concurrent sessions at peak. With responsibility for valuing more than 438,000 properties and aging legacy CAMA software, the office needed a modern, flexible, and stable system that would streamline internal processes, enhance taxpayer services, and increase transparency.

Franklin County partnered with Tyler Technologies to implement iasWorld CAMA and iasWorld Public Access, creating a tightly integrated, GIS‑enabled public portal with Pictometry imagery and a customized query engine that draws data from multiple county departments. The new solution replaced the old site, improved search and reporting, reduced public records requests, stabilized operations, and boosted staff efficiency and valuation accuracy—delivering a more transparent, reliable, and user‑friendly property information service.
