A Tyler Technologies Case Study
City of Jersey Village, Texas—a small municipality serving about 8,000 residents—faced an abrupt shift to remote operations when COVID-19 forced offices to close on March 18. The city’s challenge was maintaining uninterrupted public services and timely communication with citizens while moving staff offsite and minimizing in-person contact.
Because Jersey Village had already digitized many workflows, it used Tyler’s Incode ERP suite, Tyler Content Manager, and the MyCivic citizen engagement app to push notifications, post updates, accept online payments, and manage requests remotely. The result was a nearly seamless transition: officials kept information flowing to more than 7,000 residents, preserved transparency and safety, and laid the groundwork to expand permanent online services and telecommuting going forward.
