A Tyler Technologies Case Study
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, which administers the Katie Beckett Program serving more than 8,000 children with complex medical needs, faced a slow, paper-based intake process that relied on mailed records and manual case files. That workflow was labor-intensive, prone to lost documents and delays, and created eligibility risks that could prevent timely access to in-home care.
WI DHS implemented the Children’s Program Intake Platform (CPIP) built on Tyler’s Entellitrak to digitize and standardize intake across regional and county teams. Field staff now upload records and notes into a shared portal, enabling faster eligibility decisions, improved inter-office communication, and secure statewide expansion to other programs like CLTS—eliminating mailed paperwork, reducing risk, and accelerating services to families.
