The City of Tulsa (serving 403,000+ residents with about 3,800 employees) needed to modernize and streamline permitting, inspections, code enforcement, business licensing, reporting and document storage to meet its AIM strategic goals, reduce in-person demand, and cut paperwork and staff workload.

Tulsa selected Tyler Technologies’ Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (integrated with Enterprise ERP and Content Manager) and went live April 30, 2018. The online portal, paperless plan review and mobile inspections enabled real-time data flow and tighter integrations, yielding a 26.5% reduction in walk-in customers, a 14% increase in inspections, 45% of applications submitted online, and more than $20,000 saved in processes and labor—while improving transparency and service delivery.
