The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Appeals Division (NAD) needed to modernize and centralize appeals case management across multiple USDA agencies. Faced with an aging Oracle database, manual processes, and growing volumes of appeals, NAD sought a secure, transparent system that would improve public access and streamline agency workflows.
Tyler implemented its Case Management Development Platform as NADTrack with an Access Module that enables web-based filing, document upload, status tracking, email notifications, and online modifications while adhering to USDA policies. The solution replaced legacy systems, scaled to support more than 69,000 cases and roughly 23,000 hearings, and helped publish over 16,500 decisions—improving transparency, case tracking, and performance reporting.
