The Oklahoma County Clerk wanted to modernize an outdated records system that made electronic filing cumbersome for constituents and required staff to juggle multiple apps and heavy data entry. Tyler Technologies was selected to provide a more flexible, user-friendly, and fully integrated solution through its Records Management and Recording Access products.

Tyler Technologies implemented a unified workflow for receipting, recording, and indexing, along with a web portal that lets constituents file documents 24/7 and pay by credit card or electronic check. The results included less manual work for staff, simplified scanning and indexing with intelligent indexing, and strong early adoption: in the first five weeks, 5,400 of 14,000 electronic documents were submitted through Recording Access, including more than 1,100 paid by credit card or electronic check.
